  1. Studying Spanish at casa Elisa is one of the best things I’ve ever done! Elisabeth is a lovely woman, after a consultation, she tailor made my studies, after my experience and requests. I took a intensive course for two weeks. My teacher Maria Solidad is a amazing lady, I learned so much, and we had so much fun.
Casa Elisa is a lovely place to stay, the rooms are nice and clean. The ladies in the kitchen made me breakfast every morning and always encouraged me to speak Spanish.
I would love to go back, and I recommend Casa Elisa from the bottom of my heart!

  3. I spent the crazy & sad summer of 2018 in the school of Elisa, in Nicaragua.
I had an intermediate knowledge of Spanish and by the time I was leaving
Nicaragua, my Spanish skyrocketed. I lived between her school and a local family in the beautiful fishing village, very close to León.
Elisa is an excellent teacher with a huge experience of teaching. Be prepared for the high quality of her classes. Her specialty, among other intricacies of Spanish, is the Subjunctive mode/mood, without which you cannot consider yourself fluent. Another neat thing is that Nicaragua is a voseant country, in other words, you will learn the very rarely mentioned voseo, without which you will be lost in the world of the real deal Spanish.
If you are a surfer, bring your surfboards because the school is a stone’s throw from a solid beach break.
Studying with Elisa will jump-start your brain and will give you the motivation to truly become fluent. I highly recommend that you go to her school, experience the real deal Nicaragua and if you decide to continue in your Spanish journey, I also recommend you get my book, I just published.
It is called REAL WORLD SPANISH and it is available on Amazon. This book will show you all you need to know to become truly fluent in Spanish. Dale, pues.
